Our featured exhibit tells the story of the transportation of coal on the Reading Railroad and the community changes which resulted from the transportation of coal. Included are real coal, models of coal breakers, coal docks, coal cars and much more.

DISPLAYS of real Reading Railroad locomotives and cars PLUS special rail cars open only during RAILFEST
A UNIQUE TRUCK SHOW featuring coal delivery trucks
EXHIBITS about coal transportation on the Reading Railroad
MUNCHKIN RAILROAD RIDES for children
FOOD: food trucks selling delicious local favorites
VENDORS and MORE


Tickets at the door: adult $15; children ages 5-12 $5; under 5 free



Monthly Society Meetings

The monthly meeting of the Reading Company Technical & Historical Society is held at:

Trinity Bible Fellowship Church

Date: Fourth Tuesday of month (Third Tuesday during November and December)
Time: 7:30 p.m.–9:30 p.m.


Meetings begin by covering Society business and usually conclude with entertainment in the form of slides, films, videos, or a guest speaker. Additional business meetings of the Executive Board are held as needed.
